Learn how to use your equipment to grind and brew the perfect cup of coffee. We cover dosing, batch sizes, holding times, and the differences between your specific roast profiles.
Espresso & Milk Steaming Fundamentals
Gain confidence and learn basic skills on your espresso machine. Learn the names and parts of the machine and grinder, how to pull the perfect shot, and what makes espresso so delicious. You’ll also learn how to steam and texture milk for lattes and cappuccinos, and best practices for drink building.
Advanced Espresso & Latte Art
Already know the basics? Here you’ll fine tune your ability to dial in your espresso and match a profile. We’ll take a more in depth look at milk science and latte art techniques. Lots of hands on practice plus tips & tricks to take your drinks to the next level.
From Farm to Roast To Brew
You’ll learn about where coffee is grown, how it is processed, and what happens once it arrives at our door. We go in depth into organic farming practices, sustainability and how each step in the chain effects the flavor and quality of our coffee.
Beyond the Batch Brew
Chemex, Aeropress, Kalita oh my! Learn how different brew methods can change the taste of coffee and diver deeper into topics like grinding, blooming, and filter shape. Lots of hands on practice of techniques and lots of tasting.
Coffee Cupping 101
Learn how to taste coffee like the professionals do. You’ll learn how to set up a formal cupping from grinding and pouring to skimming and slurping. We’ll taste a number of single origin coffees at different roast levels and learn what makes each one taste so unique.
