Spice Up Your Life! Pumpkin Spice
The iconic flavor of pumpkin spice has a place in the hearts of many. As it emerges at the end of every summer, we are immediately reminded of sweater weather, apple picking, crunchy fall leaves, and thanksgiving pies. Pumpkin spice is synonymous with Autumn, and the warm comforting flavors of sweet spices can instantly change your mood. Pumpkin spice is serious business - from PSLs (pumpkin spice lattes for those of you out of the loop) to pumpkin beer, and even pumpkin spice tortilla chips, the craze is here to stay. Our customers have asked us time after time to indulge their pumpkin spice fantasies and we are happy to say YES. 2020 has been a rough year for all of us, so if something as simple as pumpkin spice coffee can put a smile on your face, we are happy to do it 😊
Our Pumpkin Spice Coffee is a creamy blend of sweet holiday spices - cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, allspice and ginger. It starts with a lightly roasted coffee from South America, that compliments the pumpkin flavor without competing for the spotlight. This blend is sweet and creamy without any dairy or nuts and is perfect to enjoy both hot and iced.
If you need more pumpkin spice in your life, here’s our favorite recipe for a homemade syrup that you can add to lattes, on top of pancakes, incorporate in desserts & even stir into oatmeal bowls.
Add water, sugar vanilla and spices to a sauce pan and bring to a boil. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes. Remove from the stove and stir in pumpkin puree. Straining is optional for a smoother syrup. Keep refrigerated for up to a week.
