Single Origin Notes
This coffee is sourced from Finca El Chorro, located north of the port city of Tapachula in Southern Mexico. Pacific air currents hitting the first range of the Sierra Madres create ideal growing conditions for organic coffee. Finca El Chorro is so teeming with biodiversity that it has also earned Smithsonian Bird Friendly certification. Jim has visited the farm several times and is always thrilled by their conservation efforts, as well as their focus on community and the quality of their coffee.
This delicious coffee stands alone and is also quite versatile - we use it in many of our blends to bring milk-chocolate taste and silky depth.
